dr hab. Krzysztof Pasztuła Silesian University in Katowice -> Faculty of Art in Cieszyn

Born in 1953 in Dobrzany near Stargard Szczeciński. Graduate of the Faculty of Graphic Arts in Katowice at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. He made his diploma work in poster under Professor Tadeusz Grabowski and annex in graphics under Professor Stanisław Gawron; the latter was awarded with a medal in 1978. In 1980-1985, Krzysztof Pasztuła worked as an assistant at the Studio of Lithography of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. He has worked at the Faculty of Art of the University of Silesia in Cieszyn since 2001, moving to the position of Assistant Professor in 2002. He obtained the title of Associated Professor in 2013. He is the author of 39 individual exhibitions and has participated in more than 200 collective exhibitions. He is specialised in painting and graphics.
