biography
Born in Tychy in 1987. Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice in 2018. Her diploma was created in the Intaglio Printing Studio of Professor Jan Szmatloch (with an additional project created in the Illustration Studio of Anna Machwic-Adamkiewicz PhD and associate Professor of Fine Arts Justyna Szklarczyk-Lauer) and was awarded a medal. She practises graphic arts, drawing and illustration.
Series of the graphic prints depicting in a metaphorical manner the transformation occuring in person during the liminal phase. Cast aside, stuck in „betwixt and between” among paradoxes, and conflicting and confusing feelings, he experiences the internal death and deconstruction – only to be „born” anew. Based upon concepts from anthropology of culture, project uses the Hero’s Journey narrative as a guideline.
