biography

Born 14.07.1990 in Chrzanów. In 2017 she graduated with honors from the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. Her thesis project titled Report from the scene was made in Waldemar Węgrzyn’s Serigraphy studio. An additional presentation for the project was made in the Animation and Computer Games studio headed by dr. hab. Bogdan Król. She received the BPSC award for her project. In her work, she touches on issues related to the human psyche, as well as the conflict between modernism and postmodernism. The main theme of her graphics is man's relationship with space, especially urban, where she sees certain cultural contrasts and the insecurity of modern man.

The whole project consists of several elements making up the installation. The core is a series of serigraphies, and the supplement is made up of short, looped animations. In its assumptions, the project refers to the aesthetics of noir movies and German expressionism. It is characterized by an atmosphere of anxiety and mystery. In the thematic sphere it affects the problem of the cultural relationship between the victim and the attacker. Presented graphics and animations create a puzzle, before which the recipient becomes the solution. The viewer is drawn into a visual game in which, on one hand, he becomes a witness to the events told, on the other - a detective trying to find answers to the ambiguities present in this art project.
