Master's degree by Karol Szafran is relief print series, where every piece is unique. Inspiration for this series came from nature, proximity to organic natural forms, protean, mono cellular creatures and intense colorfulness that is rich in contrast . Those forms are a base to create new compositions, play with the idea, form and construct. Artist doesn't try to describe nature as it is, he is searching for its spirit, or inner nature. It's a study how the various elements like shape, color and form are affecting you. Emotions that are hard to describe. He is looking for relationship between construction and deconstruction, detail and totality, order and chaos. It's a collection of form, color, line, texture, pattern and composition and an exploration of these formal qualities. Meaning is derived from how these formal qualities are used to create a visual (and/or visceral, cerebral, emotional) experience.

The Key to understand those works is a word: mystery. This mystery disappears like a bubble when we start to look for microbes, neurons, electrons etc. Mystery has a lot of meanings, and sometimes when is unsolvable, is better to stay that way. -bidi-font-size:10.0pt;line-height:115%'>Obecnie pełni funkcje pomocy asystenckiej na wydziale Grafiki, w Pracowni Fotografii Cyfrowej nr3 ASP w Krakowie
