self-commentary

Justyna Pośpiech's Master's Thesis is a graphic design of the book "Stanisława and Stanisław". The subject of the book is the common life of the title characters, the author's grandparents. The illustrations were designed using old photos. The book is the author's adult look at what is left in childhood memories - the ordinary everyday life of grandma and grandfather, their nature, and behavior. This is a reference to the fate of these two people. Its purpose is to stop them in time through the picture and facilitate the return to the past. The illustrations, made of graphic and drawing procedures, have reached the form of independent images with various textures. The accompanying aphorisms connect them with the image, causing the development of the main idea of the illustration.
