This project included 8 printmakings. Six of them is 10x15 cm and two of them 38x58 cm. Each artwork is the result of printed in one piece of paper several matrices executed in etching, aquatint, drypoint and linocut. There are also elements of soft varnish and chipping. I used in this printmaking some gold and dry print. The inspiration for this series is the story of a Little Prince’s journey. Each artwork presents one of the planet described by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Seven of these planets was visited by the Little Prince, one is his own. The printmaking try to characterize people living in these planets (Drunkard, Vain, King, Lamplighter, Geographer, Businessman). The little boy also visited Earth. By his travels he tried to get used to the people. But he felt  disappointment and by the death returned to his planet. He couldn’t stand the bad side of human nature. Only his planet was safe place and easy to understand for him. He was looking for friends all the journey but at the end he left alone. The question is – Was he couldn’t understand anyone and tame among the people? Was he alone, or maybe the people who inhabited the planet did miss they chance to become better and stop being lonely? Human nature is complex, as well as my printmaking. Every matrice brings to it something news. I'm looking for the appropriate signs, which clearly shows the climate of each planet. There artworks are not illustrations for the book, subject was only my inspiration. My printmaking are abstract composition, but everyone can red the climate and contents individual. I understand them as I presented in this images. Artworks are delicate and colorful, but the color range is limited. Gilding, I use shows a good or a bad thing in any of the characters (symbolizes kindness and gentleness, or vanity or power). A title that speaks of loneliness reflects the climate of my printmakings. My artworks are simplicity so maybe associated with drawings of a child, and that is what exacly
was a little prince – a child. Everything for him was simple, clear, honest. He had a little confidence wchich is characteristic for children. In my printmakings collide two natures: the nature of the child and the adult-artist who also once was a child, and to some extent it still is.
