born in 1994
diploma in Intaglio studio, supervised by prof. Henryk Ożóg, at the Graphics Department, Jan Matejko’s Academy of Fine Arts, in Cracow. I paint a lot, I don’t print metal plates too often. Fascinated by my first dreams and world’s mythologies, I search for their echoes in my creative works. Collective exhibitions: 8 The most important awards: Grand Prix Print of the year 2016, Distinction Call4 Arts 2019.

IF YOU’RE GOING TO BE NAUGHTY, THE EVIL SPIRIT FROM THE FOREST WILL COME Every time when I had upset my Grandmother, she threatened me with the Evil Spirit from the forest. There was nothing that I could fear more. I have used to imagine myself, standing on the forest road, (the one that ends with a little shrine) moving too slowly, unable to move at all. I could only stand there and observe how Evil Spirit appears between the trees. It could chase me, tear me, bite me. Drag me back, only to bury me in the darkest forest’s nook. And If I had upset my Grandmother, even more, she added: - It will come from the forest and take you away. Then the case was getting pretty serious. The work bases on memories from childhood, collected into stories entitled “ The Evil Spirit”. Stories were illustrated with printmaking works. The first one - a gorilla that spring up from the forest - is my First Dream that I remember. There is no common mythology, every one of us has their own, private, undefined, and residual pantheon of dreams, which has a mysterious power. Being a child we are especially vulnerable to our subconscious. It filters our minds into various fears, anxieties, concerns. Owing to our subconscious guides are born. They are the symbol of our daily experiences.
